Sandy Rock
Sandy has been passionate about RC cars since the age of 14, when he received his first RC vehicle, a Tamiya Grasshopper. From that moment on, he was hooked. He spent his early adult years racing competitively in local community clubs, fine-tuning his skills, and building a strong network within the RC world.
In 2012, Sandy saw an opportunity to turn his passion into a business. He purchased a hobby store, rebranded it, and relocated to Meridian, ID. With a focus on quality products, expert knowledge, and outstanding customer service, the store has grown exponentially, becoming one of the premier RC destinations in the Treasure Valley.
Beyond running the business, Sandy has remained an active leader in the RC community, supporting local racers, organizing events, and helping enthusiasts—from beginners to seasoned pros—get the most out of the hobby. He takes pride in mentoring newcomers, sharing his knowledge, and ensuring that RC culture continues to thrive.
With over a decade in the industry, Sandy's dedication to RC cars, trucks, and racing remains as strong as ever.
Dave Fitzgerald
Dave has been passionate about RC cars since receiving his first RadioShack RC at age 10. In 1993, he built his first hobby-grade RC, an RC10, from a box of used parts. He took it to Capital Dirt Burners, where he quickly upgraded to an RC10 T2 and later a nitro RC10GT, marking the start of his serious racing journey. He became a regular at the track, competing in nearly every race.
In 2001, Dave met Sandy, and as his love for RC grew, so did his collection. After a brief break to focus on family, he returned to the hobby and became a frequent visitor at Action Hobbies, where he and Sandy reconnected. Over the years, he spent so much time there that his wife joked he should be on the payroll!
By 2024, Dave was ready for a career change after a lifetime in drywall. After confiding in Sandy, a life-changing opportunity arose—a partnership in Action Hobbies. In July 2024, the deal was finalized, turning his passion into his profession.
Now, Dave gets paid to do what he loves, staying deeply involved in the RC community—with his Nitro Truggy remaining his favorite ride!

Defective Items
If you receive a defective product, bring it to our store, and we will inspect the issue. If the item is found to be faulty, we will repair it or replace the defective part at no charge. If further assistance is needed beyond our scope, we may direct you to the manufacturer for additional support. Products that have been used, damaged, or altered in any way after purchase cannot be returned or exchanged.

Return Process
We accept returns for unopened, non-electronic parts only within 30 days of purchase. A valid receipt is required, and refunds will be issued as in-store credit only—no cash or card refunds.
